As a woman, you may be so focused on caring for your family that you overlook your own health. Community Healthcare Center puts you first, to provide compassionate care for your changing needs.

Our staff understands the unique concerns that women can face. That’s why we focus on the essential women’s health services that help promote your well-being and peace of mind at all stages of life. We’re nearby to help you through everything from routine well-woman exams to sensitive health issues such as birth control and menstrual disorders.

We welcome Medicaid, Medicare, CHIP and most insurances. A sliding fee discount is also available based on your family size and income, regardless of insurance status.

Our healthcare for women includes:

  • Prenatal & maternity care
  • Well-woman exams
  • Pediatric, adolescent & adult gynecology
  • Pap and HPV testing
  • Contraception management & family planning
  • Evaluation of menstrual disorders
  • Treatment for diseases
  • Menopause counseling

Today, Tuesday, September 19th, the League of Women Voters - Wichita Falls, TX will be at Community Healthcare Center (200 MLK Jr. Blvd.) and Pediatric Associates (4420 Kimbell Dr.) from 1:00pm to 4:45pm. Community Healthcare Center now has flu shots available for children and adults. The cost of the flu shot is $25 but may be less depending on insurance or sliding fee discount.

Flu shots are available for all established patients and new patients 20 and younger, pregnant women, and adults 65 and older.

If you have an appointment coming up with a great Community Healthcare Center provider, please ask them about getting your flu shot.

Community Healthcare Center at Wilbarger General is a pediatric clinic in Vernon, Texas. Your child can be seen for a well visit, Texas Health Steps visit, or a walk-in sick visit at our pediatric clinic located in the Doctor's Clinic with Wilbarger General Hospital.

We welcome Medicaid, CHIP, and most insurances.

Our pediatric clinic is open from 7:45am to 4:30pm Monday, Tuesday and Friday. We are closed from 12:15pm to 1:00pm for lunch.
