Certified Nurse Midwife

Community Healthcare Center is seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife to join our dynamic, mission-driven team. This position offers the opportunity to provide high-quality, compassionate care to women in all stages of life, with a strong focus on maternal health, wellness, and serving the underserved.

Position Type: Full-Time
Location: Wichita Falls, TX

Role Objectives:

• Provide full-scope midwifery care including prenatal, postpartum, and well-woman care.
• Deliver respectful and individualized care in a supportive environment.
• Advocate for equal access to maternal health services.
• Collaborate closely with OB/GYN physicians, nurses, and other clinical staff.
• Support education and counseling in reproductive health, birth control, and breastfeeding.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine gynecologic exams and screenings.
• Manage pregnancies and provide postpartum care.
• Diagnose and treat common women’s health concerns within midwifery scope.
• Maintain accurate, timely medical documentation.
• Participate in on-call rotation as required.
• Provide patient and family education to promote informed decision-making.

Required Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Nurse-Midwifery from an accredited program.
• Current RN and APRN license in the state of Texas (or eligible to obtain).
• Certified by the American Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB).
• Current DEA license or ability to obtain.
• BLS and NRP certifications (or willingness to complete prior to start).
• Strong clinical skills with excellent communication and compassion for patients.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bilingual Spanish preferred.
• Experience working in Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) or similar community health settings.

OB/GYN Physician

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
