Community Healthcare Center’s medical and dental staff is ethnically and culturally diverse. All staff share a commitment to the Center’s high standards of patient care, workplace professionalism and strong values.

Community Healthcare Center is a designated National Health Service Corps and State of Texas Loan Repayment Program site. A portion of student loans may be forgiven or repaid based on the number of years of service. The Center is a FTCA deemed facility.

Community Healthcare Center makes every effort to recruit providers from its service area; however, shortages often necessitate recruitment nationwide and globally. Fully trained health professionals (i.e. those who have completed residency and met all accreditation and licensing requirements) are frequently sought to fill medical and dental provider vacancies. Staff Dentist (Part-Time)

Seeking a Staff Dentist for a part-time position to work for Community Healthcare Center in Wichita Falls, Texas (Wichita County).

Dentist responsibilities and Duties:

  • Diagnose and provide appropriate dental treatment to patients, including but not limited to regular cleanings, SRP’s, restorations, root canals, simple & surgical extractions, prosthodontic and cosmetic treatment.
  • Educate patients and parents of patients on maintaining proper oral health
  • Prescribe medications as necessary
  • Carefully document all medications, diagnoses, treatments, and consultations
  • Supervise the work of professional, technical, and administrative staff

Candidates must hold a valid DDS/DMD degree from an accredited school in the USA and must possess an unrestricted license to practice dentistry in the state of Texas.

Behavioral Health Counselor (LCSW)

Community Healthcare Center is seeking a full-time, self-motivated and committed Behavioral Health Counselor (LCSW) to provide full-time brief intervention counseling for adults, adolescents, children and families.

Primary responsibilities: Evaluating, diagnosing, and counseling patients; Developing individualized treatment plans that define services and interventions; Implementing and updating treatment plans according to documentation and billing requirements; and Coordinating clinical services and making referrals with outside agencies for patients.

Job Requirements

  • Excellent assessment skills
  • Ability to work as part of a cohesive team in a fast-paced environment
  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling or Psychology
  • Valid license as an LCSW in the state of Texas
  • 2 years of experience preferred providing mental health, substance abuse and a background in the medical field dealing with chronic illnesses
  • Strong computer abilities and proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR)
  • CPR Certification Required

Bilingual a plus. Competitive salary and benefits package.

Flu shots are available for all established patients and new patients 20 and younger, pregnant women, and adults 65 and older.

Our pediatric clinic is open from 7:45am to 4:30pm Monday, Tuesday and Friday. We are closed from 12:15pm to 1:00pm for lunch.
