Certified Nurses Aid (CNA)

Community Healthcare Center is seeking a full-time Certified Nurses Aid. The ideal candidate will be someone who always wears a smile and is flexible in attitude. Superb customer service skills, detail-oriented and organized a must. Primary duties are performing Retinal Screenings, scheduling appointments, and contacting patients with results. Must be HIPAA and OSHA compliant. CPR and CNA certification required. Computer skills a must for EMR. Bilingual and CNA experience strongly preferred. Please apply online here.

Community Healthcare Center is celebrating National Health Center Week with some special events on Wednesday, August 10th. These community events include:

• Free Community Hotdog Lunch on Wednesday from 11:00am to 1:30pm. Everyone is welcome. (While supplies last.)

• Community Blood Drive with Texas Blood Institute (TXBI) on Wednesday from 10:00am to 3:00pm. Look for the TXBI Bloodmobile at Community Healthcare Center.

All events will be at Community Healthcare Center located at 200 Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, Wichita Falls, Texas 76301.

This week is National Health Center Week. What is National Health Center Week? National Health Center Week is a dedicated week each year to celebrate the 1,400 health centers nationwide that serve over thirty million Americans. That means about 1 in 12 people in the United States gets their care at a Community Health Center.

Since 1994, Community Healthcare Center has provided high-quality, affordable, comprehensive primary and preventive healthcare to our community, delivering value to, and having a significant impact on our local healthcare system. In 2021, Community Healthcare Center served over 31,000 patients with over 113,000 visits.

Last Tuesday, August 2nd, DeeDee McKinney, Associate Operations Officer and David Preston, Director of Marketing & Outreach accepted the Mayor's Proclamation proclaiming August 7th through the 13th as National Health Center Week here locally.

To celebrate National Health Center Week, your Community Healthcare Center will be having some special events that will give you the opportunity to visit your local health center and celebrate the important partnership they have with your community. Those community events include:

• Free Community Hotdog Lunch on Wednesday, August 10th from 11:00am to 1:30pm. The community lunch is sponsored by Wichita Home Health Services, Wichita Medical Supply and Red River Hospital. (*While supplies last.)
