About

Community Healthcare Center is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that has multiple medical providers who offer medical care in the fields of pediatrics, obstetrics, family medicine and dentistry. Behavioral health services are offered in recognition of the connection between a healthy mind and body. The Center promotes oral health care through the services of full-time family dentists and their dental hygienists. Other Center services include radiology, a Class D Pharmacy, a laboratory, and educational resources providing health educational screenings and education. Plus, Community Healthcare Center offers the community free and unbiased assistance and enrollment with Medicaid, CHIP, SNAP, TANF, Healthy Texas Women’s Program, and Health Insurance Marketplace. Community Healthcare Center staff are deemed Federal Public Health Service Employees for the purposes of the Federal Tort Claims Act (FTCA).

Board of Directors

An all volunteer board of directors provide advice and guidance to Community Healthcare Center, over half of whom use Center services. History

Community Healthcare Center is a product of a 1992 organized community effort to develop a healthcare facility for the medically underserved: low income, uninsured and under-insured community residents. Click here to learn more about our history.
