Community Healthcare Center (CHC) is currently providing COVID testing only for established CHC patients that are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms. Community Healthcare Center is not testing any established or new patients without symptoms.

If you are not an established patient of Community Healthcare Center, we are only accepting new patients within the following vulnerable populations:

  • Ages 20 and under,
  • Ages 65 and older, or
  • Pregnant women.

Persons within the ages of 21 to 64 who are not pregnant and are not already an established CHC patient will need to seek primary care elsewhere.

If you are an established Community Healthcare Center patient or qualify to become a new patient, and would like to be seen for COVID-19 symptoms you are currently experiencing, please call (940)766-6306.

__

Community Healthcare Center (CHC), like other healthcare organizations, has experienced a drastic increase in COVID-19 symptomatic visits from its existing patients and the local community. Due to the related increase in patient volume and decrease in staffing and other resources, CHC has made temporary changes in its patient acceptance policies.

Specifically, CHC will continue to provide the same high quality and quantity of services to our existing patients; however, we will only be accepting new patients within the following vulnerable populations:

  • Ages 20 and under,
  • Ages 65 and older, or
  • Pregnant women.

Persons within the ages of 21 through 64 who are not pregnant and are not already an established CHC patient will need to seek primary care services elsewhere. We will look forward to being able to begin accepting new patients from all age groups and both maternity statuses as soon as possible.

Again, all current patients are welcomed to continue receiving whatever primary care services we offer from us whenever they need it, and regardless of their COVID-19 vaccine status.  Any new patients that we can accept (ages 20 and under, 65 and older, or that are pregnant), will continue to be welcomed too, also regardless of their COVID-19 vaccine status.

COVID-19 vaccines are available for all qualified individuals, patient or not, ages 12 and older.  Individuals wanting to be vaccinated may schedule their COVID-19 vaccination appointment by calling (940) 766-6306.  However, simply receiving a COVID-19 vaccine from CHC does not establish you as a CHC patient.

"Instead of the tense feeling people normally get when they go to the dentist I was more relaxed. It was great to not have to sit and wait. It was a pleasant experience."
