Breast and Cervical Cancer Control Program |

This
program targets women ages 40 years and older and African American
women, both of whom have a greater incidence of death due to
undetected breast and cervical cancers. Community Healthcare Center provides
eligibility services to identify women who qualify for the
following related services at no cost to them. Services covered
under the program include mammograms, breast ultrasounds, breast
biopsies, pap smears, colposcopies with or without biopsies,
and surgical consults. Referrals to specialists are coordinated
when necessary.
Funded by the Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS),
Community Healthcare Center is a Breast and Cervical Cancer
Control service provider. |
